Slacking

Have been slacking all these while after back from my camp. Is it the camp make me so lazy? Or it makes me to enjoy life more than just doing those boring homework? I have no idea. What I know is I tends to go facebook more now and interact with those seniors and participants from the camp. I think I have taken life for granted.

With plenty of homework still waiting for me to do, Maths T assignment, PBS, Physics homework, Maths T homework, IT assignment, Chemistry and so much more. Yet I'm still here slacking and reluctant to start any homework. School is gonna reopen next two days, I know it's impossible now for me to complete all these work in two days time (or even lesser), somehow really feel lazy to complete all of them. Holidays ain't doing good for me now.

In a way or so, I miss my camp now. How good life is if the camp never end or just living in dreams.

有时喝茶茶艺生活营 2013

Well, didn't expect myself to involve in this year camp but ended up helping out for this 3 days camp. What can I say is that I don't regret my decision for joining the camp cause to be honest this year camp is one of the camp I would never forget in my life.

At the moment I knew the camp was going to held on March holiday I didn't really feel like going it because the number of participants might be very little and I was really packed with my form 6 works with assignments, homework and projects all not complete. At the end I still agree to join in cause at that time not much seniors coming back to help out and I feel like I should involve myself into since I think I got that time to really help out and lend out my hand.

The first training was a week before the camp and only 2 of us turned out for the training. Amazing right? At that instant I really thought like "this camp is going to fail" and I am going to be busy around helping out this and that. Nevermind... So until the Saturday before the camp after teachers had tried the very best to call other seniors to come help out and at last we did have around 6 of us turned up. Help here and there. Train to make a cup of nice tea... And that Sunday night we were like so last minute, should say every thing was so last minute unlike the previous year. However what happened during the 3 day camp makes me have to take back my words.

First day of camp, as usual busy around helping out. This is the pathetic life of becoming a senior for this camp where you have to take care of everything and help out whenever there is a problem. Again we have some problems on the first day but managed to sort it out also. Nevertheless still get to enjoy the whole first day event. I think my overall performance for the presentation of making a tea still not bad but my hand was shaking when holding the tea cup using those callipers. But I think that's not really a big deal right? Well at night we were all having fun discussing about the games and learn the morning exercises again. Well for me after all these I have to rush my PA assignment as the next day I will have to go back to school to hand in the draft which makes me miss the front part of the next day event.

Second day of camp, I was back at the moment they were preparing for station game. What is my job then? I was due to be the runner. -_-! helping out to announce "TIME'S UP!" and makes me run the whole Shaw Parade for n times. But I still managed to involve myself in one of the game --- pouring cold water! HEHE! After station games well once again we were all busy to clean up and then help out to put all the apparatus for the "tea making competition". Exhausting day yet memorable. And also contributed some ideas to their 茶席 competition. That day was so "luin sui" and suddenly I was the one to in-charge for the materials borrowed from the tea art classroom. WOW. The fun end here? Nope, at night we were even crazier. Suddenly we were playing counter-terrorist then change place from here to there and dunno want to avoid a person then change again then play in the dark again. Madness is that they play "Truth or Dare" until like 5am. I was half-sleeping at that time. Anyway still rmb what they asked me just forget some of their answer.

3rd day the last day. Well morning exercise like madness run around the 1st floor of Shaw Parade. Then again helping out to arrange and pack. Last day, it's like it's the day they have to "cry". So after the whole day event we got this little session where they were to share what they learned during this 3 day camp, what they feel, what they think about this. No surprise that there will be some people crying at this moment and it's normal actually. 3 days isn't a short period and just when you get to familiar with some of your new friends and it's time to say goodbye. And this applies to our senior group. We were together for about 4 days but somehow it's like we have known each other for quite a long time. After the whole event end, surprising there are people who ask for our facebook (to keep in contact?), then take photos. I have my shirt written some comments by some of the seniors.

What I learned actually? It's not about learning how to make a tea, it's the way you treat your cup of tea. This applies to our daily life. When you don't have the heart to make the cup of tea, the tea will not be nice. Similarly when you treated people badly, the people won't be nice to you too. Playing is essential is our life but when it's time to be serious please do be serious. Hopefully I still get to join for next year tea art camp? I wish it will be year end.

STPM result

Planned to post this much earlier but failed to due to PBS. Have to rush doing my PBS now and it is due to hand in after holiday or should I say this coming Tuesday I have to hand in my complete version to teacher to have a look. So basically this week and the previous week I was quite packed with school work.

Back to STPM result, Monday was the day the seniors having back the exam results. There are total 8 students in our school have achieved CGPA 4.0 and 4 of them are the national top-scorer with Candy being one of the top national scorer. Congratulation to them! The 4 of them are Candy of course, with Yin Jiat, Ruenn Shen and Keen Kok. Seniors, they have done a massive job this year. Overall result are fantastic. Well this piles more pressure to the next batch actually to achieve a better or equivalent to compete with them. And the result from our first term really prove the difference between us and them.

They said results will be out at 12am Thursday but results were already out much earlier. I swore that I would never check my result until I finished doing my homework cause I was rushing doing PBS of course. But somehow there was this someone (better not mention name) kept asking my IC as he didn't score the result he expected and was like desperate to know how's my result. I refused at first but at the end told him he already had my IC cause the previous competition I gave to him. I told him not to mention about my result first cause I feel that I have my privacy first and I should be the one to know my result personally and not through anyone else even though I may have score well. Think of it now, I feel bad for having to check someone else result first now. Sorry... But at least I din spread your result around.

So back to my result, yes I got to know my result at the end when some people came and tell me. Some came and chat with me congratulating me. Well I was in the blur and they said they already know my result. Okay I should not make a fuss now since it had already past. Satisfied with my result. Only PA had lower my overall result. So planned to resit PA and maybe physics to achieve a better result? Yea, our result for first sem overall isn't that great with only one achieving 4A. Hopefully can improve next semester.

STPM isn't easy. One of the toughest exam in the world. A lot of people just don't understand the pressure you are having when you study for Form 6. I admit I have low self-confidence on myself. I wont believe that I will eventually score a better grade than anyone else. So I dun really like people come and say "for you sure no problem la. Sure 4.0 d".

Looking at the result, makes me feel that I have the responsibility to lend my hand out to those who didn't score well. I wish I could help but I definitely will help if you came and ask me questions. I might even teach you the way I understand that question perhaps? I am not an intelligent person but I will try my best to make you understand like the way I understand. The greatest satisfaction in studying is not about what you learnt but also helping others to understand and score the grade like you.

Will be going to stay overnight at my camp. Have to bring along my lappy to complete my PBS. Wish my luck.

scare

No one in this world that wont scare of anything. For example someone will definitely scare of spider, then some will scare of cockroaches or some will even scare of ghost (whether it exists is other case). So what do I scare of?

Actually there are alot of things I'm afraid of. For instant whenever there is a test, well definitely everyone will scare of it. Nervous struck me whenever there is a test. I consider myself as someone who is intelligent in terms of understanding but not memorising. Memorising work is indeed a burden to me. Always those test given are based on memory facts for example chemistry you have to remember the reactivity of the elements, for physics you have to memorise the definition or the work mechanism, or even for PA this is purely based on memory work. Perhaps the only subject I can really excel is Maths now since it's really more on understanding. Now think back, maybe I'm more suitable on art stream where account should be my major.

Apart from that, what do I scare of? Scare of admitting. I'm really not the type of person that will really stand up and speak for myself. Maybe I think I did not have that kind of power of leadership that will let people look up on me or make people trust me for what I have spoken. Afraid to admit the truth. It's hard. Always like a coward waiting for a miracle to happen. Yes. I do consider myself as a coward.

It's hard sometimes to resist this feeling inside myself. Perhaps I should learn how to control it.

English or chinese

Have the urge to post something using Chinese again. But since now I'm in IT lab updating this and there is no other alternative to type in Chinese so just post with English.

Results are yet still be out. Pn Victoria said she called MPM and they replied her results MIGHT be coming out in the middle of March which is around this week or next week. Somehow I feel numb about getting the result, not because I know I will excel in it or something. it's mainly due to frustration towards the delay and again delay of the date when results are to be out. Even SPM students know they are going to get their results on 21st but not us.

Even a good person will be hated by someone. No matter how good a person can be, there will always be one particular person who don't like you. So it's important for us to learn to be forgetful sometimes. Ignore the person or stay away from the person who make bad news about you and do not reply to any claims made by the particular person because the moment you argue about it then you have lost your battle.

That's all. Nothing else to post yet. Back to class.

Updates

just a short updates. Currently been quite busy with all my school stuffs. And everytime I wanna update and pour my feelings to here and ended up forget about it at the end of day. Since not much people read about this blog so I guess no one miss me for not updating?

Well February was a busy month for me indeed. Activity here and there. Meetings here and there. Homework that was hardly to catch up. Syllabus which is rushing by teachers. Well that's life of form 6. Busy with all those stuffs yet have to concentrate on studies. It's hard to live a life where you have to study hard but not forgetting your own responsibilities that are supposed to do.

It's March now. Results are coming out or should I said supposed to come out earlier and yet now still no news. Some claimed the people trying to manipulate those graph or whatsoever. No matter what I will just say it's not really efficient.

It's actually quite hard to compress my feeling whenever my eyes travel to the familiar spot. Too over? >_<

Will try to update as often as I can. =)
