有时喝茶茶艺生活营 2013

Well, didn't expect myself to involve in this year camp but ended up helping out for this 3 days camp. What can I say is that I don't regret my decision for joining the camp cause to be honest this year camp is one of the camp I would never forget in my life.

At the moment I knew the camp was going to held on March holiday I didn't really feel like going it because the number of participants might be very little and I was really packed with my form 6 works with assignments, homework and projects all not complete. At the end I still agree to join in cause at that time not much seniors coming back to help out and I feel like I should involve myself into since I think I got that time to really help out and lend out my hand.

The first training was a week before the camp and only 2 of us turned out for the training. Amazing right? At that instant I really thought like "this camp is going to fail" and I am going to be busy around helping out this and that. Nevermind... So until the Saturday before the camp after teachers had tried the very best to call other seniors to come help out and at last we did have around 6 of us turned up. Help here and there. Train to make a cup of nice tea... And that Sunday night we were like so last minute, should say every thing was so last minute unlike the previous year. However what happened during the 3 day camp makes me have to take back my words.

First day of camp, as usual busy around helping out. This is the pathetic life of becoming a senior for this camp where you have to take care of everything and help out whenever there is a problem. Again we have some problems on the first day but managed to sort it out also. Nevertheless still get to enjoy the whole first day event. I think my overall performance for the presentation of making a tea still not bad but my hand was shaking when holding the tea cup using those callipers. But I think that's not really a big deal right? Well at night we were all having fun discussing about the games and learn the morning exercises again. Well for me after all these I have to rush my PA assignment as the next day I will have to go back to school to hand in the draft which makes me miss the front part of the next day event.

Second day of camp, I was back at the moment they were preparing for station game. What is my job then? I was due to be the runner. -_-! helping out to announce "TIME'S UP!" and makes me run the whole Shaw Parade for n times. But I still managed to involve myself in one of the game --- pouring cold water! HEHE! After station games well once again we were all busy to clean up and then help out to put all the apparatus for the "tea making competition". Exhausting day yet memorable. And also contributed some ideas to their 茶席 competition. That day was so "luin sui" and suddenly I was the one to in-charge for the materials borrowed from the tea art classroom. WOW. The fun end here? Nope, at night we were even crazier. Suddenly we were playing counter-terrorist then change place from here to there and dunno want to avoid a person then change again then play in the dark again. Madness is that they play "Truth or Dare" until like 5am. I was half-sleeping at that time. Anyway still rmb what they asked me just forget some of their answer.

3rd day the last day. Well morning exercise like madness run around the 1st floor of Shaw Parade. Then again helping out to arrange and pack. Last day, it's like it's the day they have to "cry". So after the whole day event we got this little session where they were to share what they learned during this 3 day camp, what they feel, what they think about this. No surprise that there will be some people crying at this moment and it's normal actually. 3 days isn't a short period and just when you get to familiar with some of your new friends and it's time to say goodbye. And this applies to our senior group. We were together for about 4 days but somehow it's like we have known each other for quite a long time. After the whole event end, surprising there are people who ask for our facebook (to keep in contact?), then take photos. I have my shirt written some comments by some of the seniors.

What I learned actually? It's not about learning how to make a tea, it's the way you treat your cup of tea. This applies to our daily life. When you don't have the heart to make the cup of tea, the tea will not be nice. Similarly when you treated people badly, the people won't be nice to you too. Playing is essential is our life but when it's time to be serious please do be serious. Hopefully I still get to join for next year tea art camp? I wish it will be year end.
